An Interfaith Odyssey of Unity, Peace, and Humanity
In a remarkable testament to the spirit of interfaith harmony, Kolkata based IHA Foundation,
under the leadership of Chairman Sardar Satnam Singh Ahluwalia, embarked on the
transformative Kartarpur Yatra 2023 - Kudrat ke Sab Bande. This unparalleled journey not only
resonated deeply with the spirit of diversity that Kolkata embodies but also transcended the
boundaries of religion, caste, and creed, symbolizing the universal ideals of unity, peace, and
brotherhood.
The spiritual odyssey commenced at the sacred Sri Akal Takht Sahib within the resplendent Sri
Darbar Sahib Sri Golden Temple, Sri Amritsar Sahib. Giani Malkit Singh Ji, the esteemed Head
Granthi of Sri Akal Takht Sahib along with the Panj Pyaare, led the congregation in reciting the
Ardaas(Paryer) for ‘Sarbat da Bhalla’, invoking blessings for the well-being of All.
The delegation, comprised of 150 individuals, was a vibrant tapestry of various religions,
including Sikhs, Sindhis, Bengalis, and more. This interfaith assembly not only represented
different regions of India but also welcomed participants from across the globe, including
Thailand and UAE.
This remarkable group of individuals carried with them a powerful message of peace and
brotherhood, spreading these universal ideals during their interactions with the people of
Pakistan. It is through these interactions that the Yatra earned its name, "Kudrat ke Sab Bande,"
signifying that the bonds of humanity transcend all kinds of divides.
Chairman Satnam Singh Ahluwalia, an Interfaith Ambassador who is always working towards
interfaith dialogue for peace, harmony and brotherhood, was honored with the prestigious
Nishaan-e-Khalsa by Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora (Ambassador Kartarpur Corridor, Govt of
Pakistan, Former Member Punjab Assembly, Pakistan along with the Committee Members of
Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee. They commended his outstanding leadership
and unwavering commitment to fostering interfaith harmony, peace, and brotherhood.
Mr. Ahluwalia's initiative in uniting people of diverse faiths and backgrounds for this pilgrimage
to Sri Kartarpur Sahib resonated deeply with the essence of "Kudrat ke Sab Bande."
In a heartwarming gesture of solidarity, the delegation contributed essential provisions for the
Langar at Kartarpur Sahib Sri Darbar Sahib Gurdwara. They also provided the Rumala Sahib to
Sri Kartarpur Sahib. This act of generosity underscored the values of selflessness and service,
serving as a living embodiment of the principles upon which the Yatra was founded.
The Kartarpur Yatra 2023 - Kudrat ke Sab Bande stands as a shining example of what humanity
can achieve when individuals from diverse backgrounds come together with a shared vision of
