Bringing Love and Nourishment: IHA Foundation Distributes Fruits to Underprivileged
Children on International Father's Day, Ensuring Inclusion and Support
On International Fathers Day, IHA Foundation under the leadership of its Chairman
Satnam Singh Ahluwalia who is constantly dedicated to empowering underprivileged
communities. On International Father's Day in a heartfelt gesture, the foundation called
upon Orphanages, Shelter Homes, Bustees where it has supported continuously from
the days of the pandemic to distribute an assortment of mangoes, jackfruit, and other
seasonal fruits to underprivileged children in an effort to create a sense of belonging
and ensure that no child feels left alone in society allowing them to experience the love
and warmth of a fatherly figure.
The initiative holds immense significance as it not only commemorates International
Father's Day but also aims to provide emotional support and nourishment to children
who may be missing the presence of a father in their lives. Through collaborations with
local farmers and fruit vendors, IHA Foundation has gathered a bountiful selection of
fresh and high-quality fruits, ensuring a delightful and nourishing experience for the
young members of our society.
The International Father's Day Fruit Distribution initiative served an opportunity for the
underprivileged children to not only enjoy the flavors of summer and indulge in the
natural goodness of these delectable fruits but mainly to uplift the spirits of
underprivileged children and foster a sense of inclusion within society. By offering them
a joyful experience filled with flavorsome fruits, the foundation aims to ensure that
these children feel cared for, loved, and supported.
The IHA Foundation recognizes that supporting underprivileged communities requires
more than just material resources. With this in mind, the initiative also featured
engaging activities, including storytelling, games, and interactive sessions, which will
foster a sense of camaraderie and create lasting memories for the children in
attendance. The foundation aims to create a nurturing environment where the children
can experience the love and guidance of a father figure.
"On International Father’s Day many of us celebrated by going out and sharing gifts and
love with our children, however I realized that there are many people who are missing
the love and care of a father. Through this initiative, we aim to provide underprivileged
children with a sense of inclusion and ensure they do not miss out on the joy and
warmth associated with having a fatherly figure, we hope to bring smiles to the faces of
underprivileged children while honoring the importance of fatherhood.," said Satnam
Singh Ahluwalia, Chairman IHA Foundation.
He further added that, "We are immensely grateful for the support of our volunteers
and community members along, whose support we have made this initiative possible. It
is only together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of these children."
