On completion of 15 days of Free Oxygen Langar Sewa Camp IHA Foundation launches its Helpline No. 1800 257 9655 to facilitate smooth service to the citizens of Kolkata who need Oxygen in this extraordinary pandemic situation. Due to the overwhelming response and numerous calls made by people and their family who are fighting against Covid 19 for Oxygen, Medical Guidance, Medicines etc. We had to launch this Helpline numbers which has several landing numbers so that we can attend to more queries of needy people.

Free Oxygen Langar Sewa for the first time in Eastern India an initiative of IHA Foundation, supported by Gurdwara Behala is running successfully for the last 15 days and has served more than 400 people and their families.

During this unprecedented state of medical emergency, where people are suffering and dying due to Covid19 this unique initiative of IHA Foundation with the support of Gurdwara Behala has come as a life savior for many Covid19 patients and asthmatic patients who are suffering due to the lack of availability of Oxygen.

The Free Oxygen Langar Sewa Camp along with providing free oxygen facility to the affected people, is also providing them with Free Medical Checkup, Consultancy and Guidance by an in house Specialist Doctor. We are also providing Free Covid medicines as prescribed by the Doctors to the needy and those who cannot afford the expensive Covid related medicine and vitamins. Oxygen support is given to the patients under the supervision of Critical Care Team who are constantly monitoring the parameters of the patient. We have commissioned an Oxygen Gas Bank which is attached to a pipeline with several Outlets which are attached with flow meters to regulate the flow of oxygen given to the respective patients.

In our continuous effort to serve the people we have added another service to our above services, we are offering free refilling of Cylinders. We have in the last 7 days filled more than 160 cylinders free of cost. We were getting numerous calls everyday, from people that they had oxygen cylinders but were unable to refill them from anywhere. Many people have patients at home who are in continuous need of oxygen and are surviving on oxygen only. When their cylinders are refilled by us and given to them the sigh of relief that is seen on their faces is something extraordinary

Manav di seva, param dharam" (service to humanity is the highest religion) is the core mantra that has been driving us in our initiative to serve more and more people. Our volunteers following all covid protocols are reaching out to more and more people in need. We are all working together to put up a strong fight against Covid19 and we all need to join hands and extend our helping hand to the people in need.
